The outdoor market, a rare winter event in the Rocky Mountains, is sponsored by the Vail Daily. The Market is December 10 and 17, 2011 from 10:00am to 2:30pm and will have carolers and live music, hot chocolate and cider, as well as roasted marshmallows and Santa for the kids. Parents should bring their cameras to capture the moments.
There is still room for additional participants and interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend. Cost for 10'x10' vendor spaces is $30.00 until November 1, 2011 at which time booth fees will increase. Vendors must prepay. No one will be allowed to set up unless they have paid. Vendors can go to www.managemymarket.com to register and apply to the Minturn Winter Market.
Be sure to dress warmly, in layers. Wear good boots and hats. Bring a piece of carpet or something to stand on - this will keep you much warmer. If you have a bottled gas heater or electric heater bring it. You really should have a 10'x10' market tent with sides. This is not a requirement but it will keep you and your products dry. Please decorate your booth in a festive manner.
